KU Chi-Chun uses traditional calligraphic texts integrated with abstract Western presentation to create abstract compositions with a rich texture. Hug is created using Eastern ink painting techniques, with flowing, generous strokes that establish powerful forces of creation and destruction. Acrylic paint, salt, and oil were added to create experimental compositions, allowing broad strokes to assume unique textures similar to snowflakes and leopard coats.
