CHANG Yueh-Pin’s works are brightly colored, taking upon the appearance of book illustrations designed to create a light-hearted visual dialog. Lightweight Small Universe are composed of twelve component panels. Every object are toys, models, and elements in computer games clad in bright color tones and given a story-like background. Activities and actions that take place in individual panels seemed to lack any purposeful meaning, yet they generate a warm and humorous atmosphere. CHANG Yueh-Pin uses gaming illustrations based upon everyday items and an abstract visual perspective to create an imaginative and light-hearted imagery.
