LI Fei-Wen’s works include both figurative and abstract elements. Low moments in life are transformed into motivation forces. Artistic creation is used as a means to rediscover the touching and beautiful aspects in life. In Splendid Wings, LI Fei-Wen uses semi-automatist approaches where different colors are freely applied across the canvas of a pale blue background. The flowing paint was then converted to brilliantly colored blossoms. Gentle tones were used to create beauteous, elegant, and harmonic color tones dancing freely across the canvas along rhythmic artistic contours. LI Fei-Wen’s works demonstrate her spiritual liberty and express the beauty and joy of rejuvenation as well as serenity after having endured testing experiences in life.
