HUANG Chun-Hao’s works are filled with mechanical and science-fiction ideas. Machine-02 appears like a mass of unguided components like the Matrix in the Matrix movies, a large sentient being composed of innumerable smaller components. There is no sense of individualism in each part, but together they form an extremely powerful and self-conscious entity where all decisions are guided by an unfathomable and mysterious force. HUANG Chun-Hao made use of this simple construct to create this composition where intricate and minute parts are merged together to form a complex collective while demonstrating his love for mechanical drawings and illustrations.
