LIU Chih-Feng uses print art as a media to create a novel concept of print artworks in this generation. His works are characterized by a comical and satirical nature, illustrating unique individuals and themes in a light-hearted approach to depict attitudes that disrupt the social fabric. In Can We Not Do the Gymnastics Together, well-organized rows of figures in black suits that appear to be mass-produced clones are performing aerobic moves upon a grassy field, while red-suited figures wearing safety helmets frolic amongst them in different poses. In this work, LIU Chih-Feng advises people to stop holding onto stagnating systems and instead try to infiltrate them and achieve destructive innovation. LIU Chih-Feng made use of a humorous approach to express how people lose their individuality through the process of education, making us think twice about the relationship between the individual and the society.
