Artist LIAO Min-Chun expresses her delicate feelings about the preservation and loss of memory through her creation. Her work Warm Memory is composed of nine small rectangular works. The images present the artist’s impressions upon her friends. Six of the works take light blue, pink, and light yellow as the main hue. It makes the image look brisk and comfortable. The other three works contain intersectional acrylic lines and black patterns. It creates dimensional and transparent images. For LIAO Min-Chun, she can have her impression upon friends in her memory preserved in her works through the strokes of brushes and the intersectional layers of acrylic lines. However, if we take a detailed look, we can find the artist tries to make use of the obscure images covered by other patterns in the work to express her uneasiness about the memory which will be past and no longer exist.
