Liu Pao-Chun sources from the unbreakable, invincible concept in Buddhist mythologies and fiction to converse steel into outlines of the masculine men and creates a series of works. In Iridescent Ironmen, each ironman is given ideal body shape as Superman, hero, or even God. After cutting and bending material, the body of ironmen represents both perfection and flaws. Variances pop out as essential nature starts to interchange, implying Liu Pao-Chun’s imagination of the "embodiment." The process of the creation of ironmen shows the artist's thoughts on each phase of human society and the nature of the universe at the same time.
