WU Szu-Jung grew up in Kinmen. She was influenced by her environment when she was a child, listening to keywords such as artillery shells, bomb shelters, spies, anti-communist, and so on. She has a lot of fear in her memory, and it also makes her more curious. She expresses memories of the childhood wilderness, homeland, and history in her creation. Missing is an exploration of her childhood idea. The whole picture is rich in warm tones, and the cracked background texture represents a disturbed childhood. With abstract lines and blocks, the irregular shape reveals an awakening desire. Between ideal and reality, motivation and action, everything is missing in childhood.
