Ani Series II - Church of the Holy Apostles is a project by WEI Ze in the ancient city of Ani, Turkey. Ani was the capital of the Kingdom of Armenia in the medieval period, and the Church of the Holy Apostles was a model of church architecture at the time. The work tries to reproduce the feelings of walking through the ruins, unfolding the main body of the building, showing the historical scars carried by the church. The red brackets support the building, but on the other hand, they accelerate the destruction of the monuments. With images, WEI Ze traces back to the historical context, the martyrs and the fate of the Armenians.
