Recipe Evolution Movement by CHENG Jen-Pei crosscuts Taiwan's multi-ethnic social structure, addresses issues on cultural fusion of different ethics through food. This work draws from six women who married with Taiwanese from different countries. Based on the daily eating habits and tastes after they moved to Taiwan, the artist collected the dining table scenery of each pair of exotic marriages, observed the differences in life and diet with different cultural backgrounds, and then designed six integrations of the native and emigrated dishes. CHENG Jen-Pei integrates the two aspects of "personal experience" and "daily diet" into photographic pictures, presenting the gradually changing process of how different cultures fuse, and redefines the new combination of food in cultural collision.
