Land Pass Bird Series 1 by HUANG Chin-Fu is made of mixed media, it derives from the renowned modern mystery story of the Black-crowned night heron in childhood. Land pass Bird is a mythical blue bird with a body full of luminous feathers at night. It is said that when it stops on a tree, it is time for hibernation. Only under the moonlight when the tide changes around the first month of each year will their blue fluorescent feathers glow. The story of the Black-crowned night heron was exhibited in the form of lighting installations at the Yuejin Lantern Festival 2016 and I-Light Singapore 2019. Through the bird, HUANG Chin-Fu wants to provoke respect for the natural ecology, and return to the good days when man and nature were one.
