WANG Hao-Zhun’s work, Bathe in the Light II, is one of the series of still life paintings he created with the theme of coins. In a hyperrealism style of painting, he presents a bag of coins statically placed on the table. The coins in the plastic bag shine with the texture of gold and silver coins, and the plastic bag also shines because of it. Under the soft light and the classical composition and background, the worldly coins also seem exceptionally sacred.
