CHANG Chieh-Ti uses oil painting as the medium for creative thinking. "Returning to the viewing and contrasting of life" is the reflection she tries to present to the viewer. In the work, Twinkling Darkness, the picture is in the form of repetition and segmentation, so that various substances mirror, overlap and fill the picture. The gradient of grayscale colors and lines create the effect of light refraction and overexposure, which makes the picture seem dazzling and forms a materialistic world that is glaring and blinding. This world is gorgeous, illusory, and full of desires, symbolizing the worship and indulgence of modern people to the consumer society.
