作品賞析
Image and space have always been the main subjects of thought in the works of WANG Ya-Hui. She changes the realistic characteristics of space through techniques such as deformation and imitation. The work, A Slant of Light, is cited from the poem Lu Chai from the poet Wang Wei's. It is one of the series that WANG Ya-Hui has combined Chinese poetry and painting with the concept of space. The ink outlines the smudges, focusing on the virtual reality, conversion, and flow, and merges with the spatial experience of modern light in the picture. Similar to Wang Wei's verse, “Light reflects and penetrates deep into the woods, shining on the once green moss”, the sunlight returns to the deep forest, and the light gradually disappears on the moss. WANG Ya-Hui starts off with the space of ink and lines, and then uses photography as the reproducing path for images to extend the infinite imagination space for viewing images.
