TSAI Shih-Mei expresses the spiritual philosophical thoughts obtained from nature with ink. In the work, White Dews, the square picture creates a vast landscape of the mountains the repeatedly spotted fine brushstrokes. The light and dark ink color show the shade of the forest and the gradual colors of the leaves. The light orange color scattered among them is the color of leaves turning red in the autumn season. The white and smudged space creates an image of lingering clouds. Among the twenty-four solar terms, the white dews at the beginning of September should be cool. However, in the autumn of Taiwan, the weather still resembles hot summer. Only in the high-altitude forest can one feel a hint of autumn. TSAI Shih-Mei creates a world of playing and viewing for people to reset up and ponder the meaning of the existence of all things.
