HUANG Po-Hsun’s work, Sci-Fi from a Remote Planet, creates a dreamlike fantasy world. He uses bright colors along with techniques such as splashing, sprinkling, dripping, and dyeing to produce a richly textured base background while creating a flowing underwater image. These creative elements come from the overlapping, misplaced and reconstructed experiences in daily life, imaginary space, plants and animals, senses and vision, etc., and they are often irrational but well-planned. HUANG Po-Hsun presents the rich medium of acrylic. With the time machine constructed using brushes and paint, he guides the viewer through time and space and into a mysterious and poetic unknown country, where there is beautiful fantasy that resembles heaven.
