LIN Cheng-Che draws on the objects from daily life, uses realism techniques to associate with the objects he draws, and injects metaphorical meanings to present the spiritual orientation of contemporary life. The work Still Life Shell presents a still scene. A square table is placed in a room. However, the mottled floor of the room gradually turns into a coast. The waves beat on the rocks, forming rolls of waves. The shells on the table are slowly weathering during the painting process, and the sand slowly slides down from the paper; the grass protected inside the glass jar is also changing continuously. Through the combination of real objects and nature, LIN Cheng-Che finds existence in the change and expresses the flowing state of time.
