TSAI Cheng-Han uses a variety of infiltration, stacking, and overlapping coloring techniques of modern ink painting to create artworks. Time Keeper shows a human face with wide-open eyes staring ahead. The face covers the entire composition and seems to be entering some emotional state. Ink is allowed to infiltrate, expand, and gradually take shape to create facial features and contours. The work not only shows a human face, but also a map of fluid consciousness that interact, interfere, and disrupt each other to form a complex amalgamation of multiple dimensions. TSAI Cheng-Han regards the painting process as a dynamic activity aimed at investigating the relationships between form and consciousness.
