YANG Jen-Ming uses a unique symbol-based system to establish a unique set of creative language to record inner emotions. Fruit under the Tree (4) comprises three-dimensional dissecting lines that repeatedly overlap in well-ordered rhythmic geometries. The white paint forms an organic form that seems to be alive and growing outwards from the center. Paint is applied with the spontaneous technique and allowed to destructively drip onto the canvas. Geometric presentation, dissection, and overlapping fill YANG Jen-Ming’s work filled with structural tension and create rational and emotional harmonies and conflicts that inspire infinite possibilities of abstract art.
