WANG Chi-Sui uses her visual experiences in photography to narrate mindsets and inner consciousness that lurks in everyday scenes. Condensed State Series: Post-Memory III is based upon people, events, and objects she had experienced in life, and depicts a clear yet unfocused picture linking to her personal life, experiences, and memories. Taken at what appears to be a wharf, one can see azure blue skies, golden beaches, and a person within the scene, generating a composition that seems to tell a story about a past event. Condensed water beads that cover the image make it difficult to discern further details. WANG Chi-Sui uses photo-realism to present a deliberately blurred image to identify the relationships between time, space, and memories.
