作品賞析
I Han-Yuan’s “Listening to his sounds,0.3km,70hr 23min 6s” uses sound as a medium for thought and fantasy, converting audio sensations into a visual vocabulary. Creative inspirations are taken from actual sounds and the phenomenon of city road construction work and are then combined with actual images captured from street view maps, presenting a spatial dimension that combines both the actual and virtual environments. Stacked rubble represents the vibrations and noise generated during construction, while the distorted base represents the temporary chaos and destruction caused by the works. I Han-Yuan has taken sensory experiences and molded them into a three-dimensional idol for personal contemplation and imparts to the senses another layer of fantasy.
