LEE Ming-Sheng spent many years expressing his concerns on the natural environment and social issues and his work reflected Taiwan’s call for resistance and reformation in the 1980s, making him one of the key artists in the development of behavioral art in Taiwan. “We See, the Invisible Light.-02” is a contemplative concept on the nature of light. A scientific method was used to capture entities, sources, and spectrum of light that cannot be seen by the unaided eye. The artist took photographs of various objects, scenes, and even past photographic works, overlapping them to generate new visual works and concepts and to share his social and environmental ideals with the viewers.
