LIN Wang-Tin is skilled in video artworks, with recent works focusing on the relationship between people and space as well as cities and memories. Building, Building. is based upon home “building”. In modern life, cities are homes built by people and composed of various buildings that change the entire outlook of the world. LIN Wang-Ting reduced the size of the models to recreate an urban space while placing actual landscapes within the image to create a miniature depiction that includes both virtual and actual elements. Such compositions happen to reflect modern living quarters and lifestyles. We are living in a real world, but we may in fact be indulging in our own constructed fantasies.
