作品賞析
TSENG Ming-Hsiung is skilled in black and white photography. He uses photographs as a means to convey lifestyle experiences and often photographs people, recording the faces of many Taiwanese artists. Writer – CHUNG Chao-Cheng features a Hakka from Longtan Township, Taoyuan County of Taiwan, and is one of the first-generation authors of post-war Taiwan. CHUNG Chao-Cheng worked hard to promote Taiwanese literature and contributed significantly to modern Taiwanese literature. Most of his works pertain to the lives of Taiwanese people during Japanese rule and before the Retrocession of Taiwan, and reflect a sense of longing and homeland nostalgia amongst Taiwan’s educated youths. Lubinghua was his first full-length novel, while Three-part series on the murky flow is a representative autobiography. TSENG Ming-Hsiung uses cameras to acquire classical portraits of writers of near-modern Taiwan and uses black and white images to convey the inner worlds of these characters.
