CHANG Teng-Yuan’s main works include the Parrotmen’s Earth Archeology series where daily human lives were used as the reflective theme to create various imaginary situations in the future world. The Observation of Meteor Trajectory is an imaginary image of the future world. The organism, wholly covered in flowers, in the background is a new species that grew up by absorbing Wi-Fi signals. The creature peers from the corner of the table to look at the flowing egg. A viewer should notice that the table surface of the artwork represents the universe while the egg is shaped like a comet. CHANG Teng-Yuan infuses unique fantasies into mundane everyday objects, hinting at the multi-faceted nature of life. What we assume to be a momentous event may be regarded as slow and boring everyday incidents for beings from other dimensions.
