TENG Po-Jen’s photographic works Lost – Time series are wide, black and white shots that depict the diverse and complicated aspects of Taipei City. Le Temps Perdu/ Seeing is Value shows a street scene taken from a car when a bus with a large fashion advertisement drove past. The fashionable male model happened to be perfectly framed within the car window, looking into the car with a unique expression and appears as though he’s engaged in an interesting dialog with the passengers. TENG Po-Jen enjoys capturing fleeting moments from the streets of Taipei when working or relaxing, creating works that offer a poetic perspective of the metropolitan landscape.
