CHANG Jung-Ting’s Leave uses hazy tones that create a dream-like landscape of blue color tones. An abstract cube displays a natural mountain scape. Different colored mountain ranges, devoid of any vegetation, overlap each other. The only structures that can be seen are artificial cable towers, conveying the natural destruction brought about by human development. Smoke-like trails emerge from the cube, while two feet tiptoe on top of it, as though exhorting people to go onwards regardless of the difficulties they face. In this work, the artist employs story-like narratives and elements to convey a spiritual response to the external environment.
