Lost in Time

HUANG Chiu-Yueh creates abstract artworks with rich, eastern approaches in an attempt to capture a fleeting moment in time. Though time is lost in this endeavor, efforts are nevertheless condensed into a trail that envisions a personal response to the unpredictable nature of life. Time Lost is a harmonious composition of distinctively defined layers of orange, blue, and white colors. Dry brush strokes, stone rubs, scratches, and other textures were used to create various layers. Black pencil lines were strewn randomly across the drawing, corresponding with the orderly formation of black circles that resemble the documented records of inner feelings.
