CHIANG Chin-Lan has created a series of abstract artworks to convey the Eastern philosophy of harmony between the Yin and Yang and between the virtual and the tangible. Abstract works were used to present the hidden spiritual energies of the universe as well as the deep meaning of harmonious coexistence between the human race and nature. Minimalist color blocks were used by the artist to convey the humanist elements of Eastern philosophy. Green Dream adopts olive green as the main tone, with geometric blocks of different colors and shapes neatly distributed and arranged in the composition. This even dissection of color patches creates a powerful composition that incorporates dynamic rhythms within static elements.
