HUANG Chia-Hui removes all color and uses black and white tones to highlight the atmospheric essences provided by the coastline, rocks, skies, and clouds, providing observers with infinite imagination on the study of the natural world. Piping the Cloud shows a coastal rock on a bright, sunny day. The massive rock is covered by hive-like formations created by the weathering effects of wind, sand, and the oceans, while the faraway horizon depicts mountain ranges close to the coast. Puffs of white clouds float across the skies, initiating an interesting visual dialog with the rock formations in the foreground.
