CHEN Tsan-Yun’s photograph of Masjidi-I Vakil. Shiraz, Iran uses black and white photography and panoramic perspective to depict the sublime and somber atmosphere of the architectural space. The work shows the courtyard of a mosque in Iran and the neat formation of pillars decorated with Islamic patterns and capitals. The ceiling is also decorated with arches and geometric shapes.
