YANG Tzu-Hung is skilled in observing minute everyday changes, transforming mundane everyday objects or sceneries into artworks that remind people to start paying attention to the things around them and expand their senses to better enjoy life itself. Green Sunset at the Beach is a photograph taken during YANG Tzu-Hung’s stay at an artist village in Japan. His workshop was located near the coast where he could see the setting sun slowly sinking into the horizon as he heads off to his workshop every day. This scene was photographed when the snow has started melting on the road. The sleek asphalt surface gleams with the green lights of traffic signals, guiding residents on their way of life like a setting sun in this urban jungle.
