CHUANG Ho specializes on the use of new media forms in his creations, with innovative focus that center on the mutual dependence between individuals and groups. A Time and a Place illustrates a hunter exhausted from his chase of an ever-changing prey. Temporal and spatial frameworks were dismantled to create a detailed reconstruction of a separate imaginary realm. Flowing images were also employed as the artist adopted the perspective of a detached bystander to express his own views on a creative lifestyle. CHUANG Ho has abandoned mechanical computer image editing in favor of thousands of hand-drawn screens assembled to create a 3 minute film. Unrefined appearances and charcoal marks would change with the leaping lines, taking the viewers onto a high speed ride of visual fantasy.
