KUO Tzu-Wei’s Decode the Life dissects the composition into several blocks that meticulously depicting old gramophones, alarm clocks, morning glories, butterflies, and keyholes. These items are then arranged to occupy a particular space. Darker and more subtle tones were used as the main theme, contrasting against the diverse coats employed for each item and adding to the three-dimensional arrangement of the work. To KUO Tzu-Wei, artistic creation serves as her personal paradise of joy, allowing her to rest her spiritual mind during her busy schedule. She has illustrated these items in order to portray the busy schedule and chaos of her surroundings as well as her hopes to live like the morning glory with its rugged vitality, beautiful blossoms, and ability to wilt away without regrets. The artist also hopes that her feelings can also be communicated and shared with the viewers.
