YEN Peng-Chun uses photography as his creative media to identify scenes where everyday items are combined with abstract patterns, generating imageries containing magical and theatrical elements that serve as his artistic signature. Physical Effects offers the viewer a first-person-view in pushing a blue supermarket trolley across a no-parking area marked. The result is a visually engaging combination of the trolley and ground markings, generating a geometric, symmetric, and abstract aesthetics of color and lines.
