In the photograph Immersion, the artist LIN Yu-Chun has captured a delicate composition of a semi-outdoors bath house showering in the orange lights of the setting sun pouring in from the balcony, shrouding the entire space in a thin veil of gold. Hot water flows forth from an opening, sending a fine steamy mist that rises throughout the area, penetrating the bath pools, reclining chairs, and water ladles. The bath house basked in the setting sun gives off a sense of alluring serenity. With this work, LIN Yu-Chun has created a poetic dream scape of fantasies.
