WU I-Fan enjoys transforming the beats and rhythms of dance into artistic elements, creating works characterized by a rich variety of evolving totems. Nuke Age is dominated by the three color tones of red, yellow, and black and combined with numerous flowing forms manifested in complicated shapes. The work depicts the damage and mutations caused by nuclear energy, with the flowing shapes representing biological life being twisted and transformed under by radioactive assaults. The constantly changing rhythms of lines illustrate the potential destruction that could be wrought by nuclear energy and conveys WU I-Fan’s concern about nuclear energy.
