YEN Tzu-Sung uses photography to permanently capture short-lived moments of people, actions, and items. In Symbiosis, black and white photography is used to capture a set of stairs with distinct and orderly geometric forms and lines. This visually unique array of hexagons is composed of wooden planks arranged in different directions. The depth, light, and shadow effects have transformed the composition into a disciplined and precise formation of layers, making the photograph appearing as a geometric abstract experimentation created by an avant-garde artist.
