SHI Jin-Hua is an artist who has long paid attention to concepts and behaviors. “Seed Beddings 1” and “Seed Beddings 2” originated from the creativity project on the “x number of Bohdi Trees.” The artist intends to plant 162 saplings in this project. The artist first franticly repeats drawing on the paper with a pencil, then treats the scouring fallen from the process as the saplings by re-inserting them back to the painted land. On the other hand, the artist responds with planting 162 saplings while attempting to recall human awareness and care for the environment. The artist does not only plant the beautiful saplings but also attempts to spread the virtue of human and the ideal concepts of commitment to social reforms through creation.
