CHEN Wun-Jyuan’ s works always showcase delicate and sophisticated elements through simplicity. This painting titled “Blue” is the best example. In her view of life, Chen regards time as the symbol of life, and space the stage for life; the two seem to be placed together in a random yet orderly fashion. The calm and cool blue hue vaguely embodies, the passionate orange, mysterious purple, and green that symbolizes life. Colors influence our emotions and leave behind colorful marks in our memory.
