作品賞析
TSENG Wen-Peng is a photographer and graphic artist who cares about social phenomena. Through photography, he records images of sights specific to Taiwan’s landscape and culture. In rural areas of Taiwan, small structures of corrugated metal are a common sight; though built illegally, they’re a common feature of life in Taiwan. In Taiwanese Architectural Absurdities: Pigeon House, Tseng photographs a number of pigeon houses made of corrugated iron and metal fencing. These pigeon houses are add-ons built on top of existing buildings, and they vary in form and structure. Often brightly colored, they’re slapped together with plenty of creativity and imagination.
