LIANG Jia-Ling’s painting Field of Memories depicts weighty, uneasy memories through grey and white tones complemented by an enigmatic symmetry. In this piece, the near-symmetrical landscape is highlighted by light and shadow. Liang creates a rift in space-time at the junction between the two sides, toward which blurred figures on bicycles charge headlong into an unknown dimension.
