LIN Wei-Hsiang has received classical art education since little. For him, creativity is a journey to pursue spiritual tranquility. The artist uses grey, black and white colors on his work, “Traces of Travel (7),” to stack the images of mountain, forests and lingering cloud and fog, turning the oil painting into an ink-painting with elegance and charms. The viewers can perceive tranquility and a carefree sense from the painting as if experiencing the happiness through the drawing of plain and distant scenery of the spirits.
