Open Call & Acquisition
Whether you're an artist yourself or know someone bursting with creative energy, Art Bank Taiwan’s annual open call is a unique opportunity to increase the visibility and impact of contemporary artwork. As the only public initiative in Taiwan that supports emerging artists through direct acquisition, the Ministry of Culture’s Art Bank Program issues a yearly call for submissions. Selected works are reviewed and acquired by the Art Bank Acquisition Committee to support promising early-career artists. Acquired pieces are then introduced to the public through leasing, curatorial planning, and artwork-matching services—broadening artist exposure, building a wider base of art appreciators and potential collectors, and enriching Taiwan’s art ecosystem with greater diversity and accessibility.
